CHAPTER 1: Page 3 

This page is definitely an allusion of things to come and an important lesson that stays with Tashi and Nima.

It also is to represent how Nima never gives up to adversity – once he has resigned himself to do something, he’s in it for the long-haul.

Artistically, this is one of those pages you just want to animate. The way Nima maneuvers against his air bomb getting out on control and lands in a perfectly grounded stance was awesome to illustrate. This is also one of those instances where we see that maybe he’s not as bad as he thinks he is in the bending arts and that a lot of his hang-ups just might be in his head.

So beautiful. And if I can say. I think it would be better if certain parts of their costume were diff colors. It looks like it's all the same color which is diff from Aang's. And by the way which temple are we at?
